FOX Sports Southwest has NBA All-Star Weekend covered

FOX Sports Southwest will provide extensive coverage of NBA All-Star Weekend with special nightlty editions of "Mavericks Insider" and a Fantasy Play-by-Play Booth at NBA All-Star Jam Session.

 

Nightly episodes of "Mavericks Insider" ae scheduled for Thursday at 7:30 and 11:30 p.m., Friday at 6:30 and 10:00 p.m., and Saturday at 5:30 and 10:00 p.m.

 

Anchors John Rhadigan and Dana Larson will be joined by Basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman, FOX Sports Southwest Mavericks reporter Emily Jones, and "Mavericks Insider" co-hosts Ali Dee and Ro Parrish to offer behind-the-scenes access and the inside scoop on the All-Star event from Dallas.

 

The 30-minute shows will recap the day’s All-Star festivities, take you inside several of the parties in town, and include interviews with All-Star players, celebrities, and NBA legends. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban also sits down for an exclusive interview with Parish where he discusses hosting the All-Star Game and the electric atmosphere the event brings to the Dallas area.

 

Friday’s and Saturday’s 10:00 p.m. shows will include highlights from the evening’s events at American Airlines Center. NBA All-Star Friday features The Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam, while NBA All-Star Saturday showcases the popular Slam Dunk Contest, Three-Point Shootout, Skills Challenge, and Shooting Stars Contest between NBA and WNBA players and NBA Legends.

 

In addition to the nightly television shows, FOX Sports Southwest also will have a presence at NBA All-Star Jam Session Wednesday-Sunday at the Dallas Convention Center. FOX Sports Southwest’s Fantasy Play-by-Play booth will give fans an opportunity to sit at an anchor desk and call Mavericks highlights. Each participant’s performance will be recorded and posted on FoxSportsSouthwest.com.

 

Throughout All-Star Weekend, FoxSportsSouthwest.com will post videos, stories and commentary from the events and festivities, including a recap of Sunday’s All-Star Game from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
